Cranberry Oatmeal Crisp
Ingredients:
- Strawberries (Large, Uncut)
- Cranberries
- 1/2 cup Splenda
- 1 cup Cranberry Juice
- 1 tsp Fresh Grated Orange Zest
- 2 tbsp Corn Starch
- Pinch Salt
- 2/3 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2/3 cup Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
- Fill a 9" shallow baking dish with large strawberries
- Pour Cranberries over the strawberries to fill in the spaces
- Sprinkle Splenda and Orange Zest over the berries. Add a pinch of salt
- Mix Corn Starch with a little cold water until dissolved; pour over berries along with the Cranberry Juice
- Combine Flour, Oatmeal, REAL Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg in a bowl
- Add real butter and cream together
- Sprinkle over berries and put into the oven for at least a half hour or until fruit is bubbling and crisp looks done. Take out of oven and let rest for five minutes. Serve.
